Intrusion Detection- Emerging threats link broken
« on: November 13, 2016, 07:00:03 pm »
FYI:

The suricata links to dl the emerging threats rules definition are all broken, the emerging threats site has updated their links.

old broken link example:
https://rules.emergingthreats.net/open/suricata/rules/http-events.rules

New:
https://rules.emergingthreats.net/open/suricata-1.3-enhanced/

or
https://rules.emergingthreats.net/open/suricata-1.3/

But some of the definitions are gone now, that first one being an example.

@rc222 they don't appear to be broken, only some files are removed (in all versions).  https://rules.emergingthreats.net/open/suricata/rules/

It looks like https://rules.emergingthreats.net/open/suricata-1.3-enhanced/ is the best choice for our version, I will change our config to use this one.

Thanks for the tip,
