NUC7i3 with two Intel NICs
« on: October 03, 2023, 02:14:12 am »
Hello, I'm formulating a USG replacement. Looking for thoughts on below setup.

NUC7i3BNK (i3-7100U 2.4GHz 2core/4thread, 16GB)

With this:
https://www.amazon.com/Gigabit-Ethernet-Server-Adapter-I210AT/dp/B0BFFRXFXH
("I210AT Internet card adapter", ASIN B0BFFRXFXH)

Adapter to replace Wireless-AC 8265 module (m.2 2230 with Key A+E).

Any reason to think Opnsense will have any problem using this setup?
With QOS/IDS/IPS, should I be able to max out symmetrical gigabit with 10-15 concurrent users?

Thank you for your valuable insights!!
