Request Help Monitoring

Hi All,
   We are converts from PFSense because of issues with IPSec. I am happy to say opnsense has fixed a lot of those issues! My problem is as follows though: We want to monitor the IPSec tunnels from (Ultimately) grafana. I have tried all the different methods as follows:

1. Interface checks (only shows 1 enc0 despite having 2-10 tunnels).

2. api/ipsec/tunnel/Searchphase1 (shows each tunnel but no status, counters, etc)
    2b. Tried SearchPhase2 , and it returns total: 0 information despite tunnels being up and running

3. Syslog, nothing I can see showing a yes/no, up , alert or otherwise about individual p2 status.

4. if table on term line (again only shows one interface for all tunnels).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Love the product and what everyone is doing but really need a way to actively monitor it.
