Have to firm set gateway

Hello,

I have a single gateway on my WAN at the moment. In the future I'll be looking to add a 4G failover WAN, so I left the gateway as auto-detect for the case when I add that gateway in, however no traffic flows out the gateway when I leave it as auto-detect on my WAN.

I have to actually specify the gateway for it to work. is that normal?
