incorrect login

hey guys, hoping someone can help. i'm using user: installer and password: opnsense to install opnsense 19.7 it keeps saying login incorrect. Everywhere i read says this is the installation login. What can i do here?

I just now tried the DVD image in a VM,
U: installer and PW: opnsense
worked fine.

Make sure your CAPS-lock is off,
and that you have the right keyboard layout

Nano images don't support installer. It's mentioned in the documentation and nano won't tell you "installer" works because it's a full system already....

You can still log in as root / opnsense and use option 8 and type "opnsense-installer" to get an installer anywhere.
