I can reproduce successfully like Ad wrote, add new alias test, paste "1.1.1.1,www.nu.nl,www.google.com" and checked pfTables via Diagnostics:

   1.1.1.1   
   172.217.16.132   
   2a00:1450:4001:815::2004   
   52.84.163.119   
   52.84.163.159   
   52.84.163.194   
   52.84.163.7


Latest 19.1.8 without any modifications

Seems it was definitely something wonky with the opnsense pkg.  Aliases are back to working already without even rebooting after reinstallation.  Thanks AdSchellevis!!
