Site to site VPN redirect-gateway not working

As the subject says. I have a functional site to site setup with Openvpn using Peer to Peer. I can ping across to the endpoints. However, when I select redirect-gateway option on the server, it is completely ignored. Both sides are opnsense.

Bump..
Anyone.. still not working. Does peer2peer ignore the redirect directive?

At first you should check the openvpn.log when reconnecting, never used this feature in S2S.
