Trying to install on AMD Athlon II

I am trying to install on an old HP p6310f with an AMD Athlon II X4 630 processor.  Kernel looks like it is loading then locks up hard.  Any ideas would be welcome.  Thank you.

Escape to loader prompt (3), type:

OK set hw.ibrs_disable=0
OK set vm.pmap.pti=1
OK boot

If it works add these tunables to System: Settings: Tunables:

hw.ibrs_disable -> 0
vm.pmap.pti -> 1

Reboots should be fine then.
