thanks for that topic. I'm very interested in getting more replies. At some point, I did the research and found some Netgate obsolete devices:

https://www.netgate.com/support/product-lifecycle.html  - looks like some RCC-VE have coreboot integration.

Of course, my assumption is that pfSense devices would support OPNsense, but I may be wrong.
