Unable to 'see' ESXI box

Just got OPNSense configured on a standalone box. Running 18.7.4 at the moment.

I am unable to see my ESXi box on the lease list or the ARP table. I have the ESXi box statically set to an IP, and i can hit it from vShpere client using the assigned IP just fine. And any VM that i spin up gets assigned an IP which i can see via lease list or ARP table.

Why does the esxi box interface IP not show up in any list on OPNSense?

Can you ping the ESXi management interface from OPNsense? The VMware guests will be more likely to access the internet than the host. If there is no traffic between ESXi and OPNsense, then they won't show up in each other's ARP tables.
