Opnsense slow connections on external access
« on: November 08, 2018, 10:42:16 am »
Hello all !

I have an Opnsense in version 18.7.4. I am not able to update or try access from the firewall. It's a freaky problem because all others works, i'm able to use OpenVPN connection on it etc...

I will try to explain:

- Update is impossible because it's finished on timeout
- ping to 8.8.8.8 is possible

Code: [Select]
root@vpn:~ # ping 8.8.8.8
PING 8.8.8.8 (8.8.8.8): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: icmp_seq=0 ttl=122 time=3.949 ms
64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: icmp_seq=1 ttl=122 time=3.912 ms

But a telnet for example is very very slow (i have to wait a couple of seconds to have the result). It's works but it really slow. I think this is the reason why i cannot upgrade, the dns response is too long.

Any idea on this problem ?
