EEE is disabled. It's not an ASPM or EEE issue.

NVM 2.32 fixes a lane swapping issue, which can present issues like link working ok now and then fails later.

NVM 2.32 - Fixes an issue in MDI lane swap handling that caused the P (positive) and N (negative) signal polarities to be swapped incorrectly.

The buggy lane swapping can occur for numerous reasons.

Hard to follow which user has what NVM, but the base config needs to be i226 with latest NVM.

Theme needs an update, OPNSense Dark Theme is not bad. Try that in the interim.

It's exactly what it says. RCF1918 seen as src IP unbound on WAN iface.
It's a local multicast, probably from the iface of the modem. ISP wont see it because they wont see that multicast upstream from your ISP modem.

What is the DFG of your firewall?

26.7 Series / Feedback on new Widgets since ...

Hi there,

today I was updating from 26.1.11 to 26.7.

As always the update went smooth, thanks for the great work guys. (Even on Hyper-V, I don't had kernel Panics)

However, the new Service Widget looks not great and does not blend in well with the other GUI Elements. (Black writing on green background)

Thats of course only my personal opinion. Maybe others find the new design more helpful, the advantage might be that a failed service is more visible.

Is there any possiblity to let users choose from the two designs. I was just super satisfied with the old one.

I've added you a screenshot of an old test-build with my typical Web-Interface-Design and a small Picture how it looks with the new design.

Keep the good work up and best regards!

Is traffic from the ISP side or my internal network side?  I believe from the ISP but when reporting it to them they did not "see" the traffic on their side.

If vi doesn't scare you you can edit /usr/local/etc/pkg/repos/OPNsense.conf and use pkg.opnsense.org

Changes there are not permanent but it should suffice to download the 3 files needed for the major upgrade.

Once you edited the file type exit and 12 to retry the 26.7 upgrade

Can you try renaming $Banned_countries to $BannedCountries?

Are there any other aliases with special characters? Can you give examples before renaming those too?

Don't expect anything special to happen with a fresh install. As long as you're bringing the old config file the issue is still there.

I would simply retry upgrading after taking care of that and any similarly named aliases.

If there's nothing else -and I don't think it is- you'll be up and running on 26.7 shortly. And once Franco fixes the bug you can get back to the old naming convention if needed (with a snapshot testing the fix will be easy enough)

Quote from: Melroy vd Berg on Today at 02:23:33 AMHow can I plugin the installer USB at the same time as the second USB (with my backup config), while the DEC3800 only has 1 USB port on the front here.
I asked something like this in the past because a single USB port seems like a limitation, but IIRC the consensus was that in this case you should restore the config from the OPNsense GUI after installation.

What's the status of 'igc' related changes in the kernel shipped with 26.7?  Do we still need to patch post upgrade?
