The RTX3080 alone was ~35W, which was reduced to 5W, because I use the IGD now. Also, there seemed to be some peripherals than would not let the chipset enter deep sleep states. My soundbar is 5W and the 39" monitor has 40W. I have the 14700K only for being better selected chips, it is not overclocked, but rather PL2 reduced to 125W. The net effect is that the whole system is also way quieter.

So talking with upstream, we found the commit that broke ciss and got it reverted on main here. It hasn't been merged into stable/15 but perhaps it can be cherry picked for opnsense.

Switching from Zen 3 to Raptor Lake reduced consumption? Interesting. 180W seems high (I'm assuming idle)... I have two machines (a 7900X with 11 storage devices and a 5650GE, neither have a GPU AIC) that consume ~115W idle (reading from the UPS). (I'd expect it to be ~5-10W lower in the winter, as the 7900X has a very aggressive system fan.) Add the display (32" 1440P, on another UPS), which consumes ~30W. My 5800X/X570 with GPU is currently in pieces, so I can't check it. I wouldn't expect it to compete with the two servers in power consumption... but I could be wrong. Incidentally, firewall (a 7700X) and KVM consume ~50W idle.

Franco I did test this.

Tried with reboot of the OPN.
Now when the OPN boots up the sessions/states are under correct Rule labels/descriptions.

This is what ChatGPT helped me come up with.  This was in order to submit an issue, which I have not done yet.  I figured I would try the forum first.

There are also repeated IPv6 initialization messages during boot:

At present, the WAN and LAN interfaces have only IPv6 link-local addresses and no global/delegated IPv6 prefix.

There are also repeated kernel messages:

pfr_update_stats: assertion failed.

I do not know whether these are related.
