Below is the output of ifconfig command, and with pppoe0=1500 I believe it's working as expected, right?

I understand your response, but unfortunately I've already tested it with another browser and on another PC and it didn't solve the problem.

I created a new user in the new version and it started working correctly.

The root user cannot be replaced and is having the problem.

I wanted to understand what happened. I don't have much experience with OpenSense (1 week). There should be errors in the logs, right?

Could it be some change in this version, as has happened in previous versions? I've already looked for something wrong in user/conf/config.xml, but I didn't find anything.

I've been using Sophos Firewall Home for over 2 years and never had similar problems. I'm looking for a more customized and lighter firewall and I believe OpenSense is the answer.

I have everything working on OpenSense (VPN, Zenamor, DDNS, HTTPS, CrowdSec, IPGEO, Monitor, etc.)... but this problem is killing me :(

When I click SAVE, nothing happens. The expected outcome is the window disappearing and returning to the user list.

This option doesn't have an "Apply Changes" button at the top.

Thats the browser issue then. You are either zoomed in a lot, or have something that breaks/blocks elements on the page. Probably antivirus solution or some browser plugin.

Hi all,

looking to put together a mini PC that can sustain a 25Gbps throughput.
My CPU is an i9, I'm fairly confident that has adequate horsepower.

What about RAM?

The official hardware sizing guide of OPNsense states that to handle a throughput of over 750Mbps the "recommended spec" is needed.
And the recommended spec indicates 8GB of RAM.

But is that enough for 25Gbps or will it handle just a little over 750Mbps?

I don't expect to have many sessions going on at any given moment.
I live alone and I generally use only one device to surf the Internet.

Quote from: frade on Today at 02:41:32 PMAfter installing OPNsense version 26.1.7, users (including root) are unable to save changes through the GUI (e.g., comments, emails, etc.).

Edit: It doesn't show an error, but the Save button does nothing. There are no error logs in the GUI.

Can you help?

Did you hit Apply Changes button at the top after saving ?

You do it the same as you did for your VLANs.

French - Français / Re: Installation ExpressVPN

Hi Dave,

Yes, ExpressVPN has changed its program.

I contacted customer service and they said that OpenSense is no longer supported (or at least, it's supposedly possible to use it, but it's not supported).

I guess I chose the wrong VPN and I'll have to buy another one.

Were you able to install another VPN within OpenSense?
