Last post by Patrick M. Hausen - Today at 09:51:38 AMDu kannst es vielleicht auf der Kommandozeile mit Gewalt machen - ob das Plugin dann läuft, ist allerdings nicht sicher. Es ändern sich ja u.U. die Versionen von Shared Libraries bei einem Update und die Plugins sind gegen spezifische Versionen gelinkt.

Da gebe ich Dir grundsätzlich recht!
Aber nicht immer kann man das Zeitnah machen, ich mache das dann z.B. an Wochenenden, auch wenn die Downtime recht kurz ist, mache ich es ungern wärend der Normalen Arbeitszeiten.
Jetzt wollte ich das dyynds Plugin testen, muss ich halt warten,...

The difference between a router and a switch/bridge is that a router works at layer 3 and a switch/bridge at layer 2. It is not necessary to invent separate terms for the act of passing a packet.

26.1, 26,4 Series / PPPoE Connection Issue
Last post by Liran - Today at 09:17:14 AMI've installed OPNsense 26.1.6_2 on a Lenovo M720q with 5 NICS (built-in + 4 i226v PCIe).
I've followed every guide I've found to configure PPPoE, my ISP does not require VLAN tagging so I skipped that.
For some reason when the PPPoE connection is established, the device is getting an 10.x.x.x IP address instead of my public one. According to the ISP, when this IP shows as connected they see a connection.
Previously I was using a Cisco RV-345, when connected again it works. The ISP even provided me a set of testing credentials to see if it's an issue with the credentials.

ich stoße immer mal wieder an das Problem, das ich ich ein Plugin installieren möchte, es aber nicht geht, weil die OPNsense nicht auf der aktuellsten Version ist.
Nun möchte ich aber nicht immer warten, bis ich in einem Wartungsfenster die OPNsense aktualisieren kann.
Gibt es die Möglichkeit, Plugins für die vorherige(en) Versionen herunterzuladen und manuell über die Konsole zu installieren?

Last post by shaun90 - Today at 09:10:11 AMWe have updated to 26.4.1p1_2 Business Edition, and we are unable to update our OpenVPN instances in the UI due to a validation error on Auth Token secret.
The validation error is "Text may not contain spaces or tabs".
I assume the spaces are from the "-----BEGIN OpenVPN auth-token server key-----" and "-----END OpenVPN auth-token server key-----" lines. We originally used the opnsense inbuilt generator to create these tokens.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
