Yeah that would be a really nice QoL feature. Right now I don't think Crew Chief can auto-disable itself when the game closes and you still have to stop/exit it manually or rely on some external launcher/scripts

Would be a great feature request though

Like the "Karajan audio module" that went onto a special socket in one of the early 2000 boards? I wonder what connector that was, maybe something like those audio/modem risers that were popular a few years before that one?

My good old DFI Venus Edition had that, but what I was talking about is called 'Nvidia SoundForce' IIRC and was one of the very few that could Encode your sound so you could have Surround Sound via the Digital Output instead of the Analog Outputs in Games :)

So, yeah, anyone in the media who bought the line of shit from Dario Amodei that this was "too dangerous to release" is a mark. Cal Newport has an excellent piece debunking the hype, but my general feeling is that if Mythos was so powerful, how did Claude Code's source code leak?

OK, thanks for the clarification and concise info! Probably that scenario is rare anyway so it's reasonable to not code for it, especially since even stability fixes rarely would prevent a system from at least being able to install a plugin, contrary to a missing driver. I occasionally wondered why there are two separate ones instead of one combined microcode package, but maybe a clear distinction is better and saves a little space as bonus.

I'll probably try iperf via an SBC on Linux to one of the listed servers and see what happens. Windows networking always seems a bit 'touchy' to me.

WRT NIC drivers and stability, Windows should be OK because up until recently, no vendor could afford to have drivers that don't work perfectly with Windows. With the slow shift towards Linux, this may change if it continues. What MS does to network management itself is another story of course.

Anyway, yes, I view the bandwidth test sites as some lightweight testing, especially the browser-based ones. Whenever I use iperf3 (there are different versions that aren't compatible), the first few tests are for stability, and I run the server on the DUT. The extra CPU load and stack activity is welcome in this case to better simulate real-world scenarios. For throughput testing, the docs recommend to use another server so that only the traffic passes through the DUT. That will then test both NICs in the DUT, so this typically is the last test I do after verifying each NIC individually.

Oh, obviously iperf3 -P4 --bidir also stress tests the NIC / driver in the initiating system as well, so if that one is flaky, that may lock up as well. :)

Подскажите, пожалуйста!
Файл os-amneziawg-v2.tar на странице GitHub os-amneziawg не нашел. Скачал ZIP-архив через кнопку "Code"->Download ZIP, распаковал его на OPNsense в папке /tmp/os-amneziawg.
При инсталляции выдает ошибку обновления репозитория и, соответственно, не копирует бинарники. Пробовал переустановить - не помогает.
В чем может быть дело?

С этой проблемой сборолся: в 276 строке скрипта надо добавить -f для принудительного обновления репозитория, а в 305 строке добавить -U для предотвращения повторного обновления репозитория:
