Most forums have an option when adding a comment yo be notified.
Think that is the main thing here.

I do not see an option to be notified at the top of the topic.
And the setting in the profile worked about once for me...

There is no package system for OPNsense yet, and and IDS package isn't scheduled till the 15.7 release.

It got fixed in 15.1.8. The settings weren't saved before.
