Wohlgemerkt ich komme per IPSEC auf die Firewall / bzw die Site2Site Verbindung läuft

Hi ich habe folgendes gemacht
VLAN Angelegt
mit dem Vlan ein Interface angelegt und konfiguriert
daraufhin wurde die Firewall unstabil- Verbindungen nach aussen rissen ab,
ein OPENVPN Server Service stürzte ab und war nicht mehr zu starten.
Neustart und die FIrewall lief wieder ordentlich

You Need the freebsd version for installing it on the same machine like opnsense
Opnsense is based on FreeBSD not Linux
But is it really good to install this on a firewall?

Hi,
i defined my Logs to 50mb each.
seems that is running and its fulling with information - but when i request information of the firewall in the gui there arent displayed the last 200 entries like its set - its mostly just 20... if i look up in the log file it self i found about 100 entries

10.100.0.0/16 -> SOPHOS - 10.100.42.0/24 - OPNSENSE -> LAN 192.168.100.0/24
Where i got to make Rules to let the 10.100.0.0/16 - LAN to my 192.168.100.0/24
My Suggestion just rules in the 192.168.100.0/24 right? Or has the 10.100.42.0/24 also to be open?

Hi,
trying to routing and communicate between a sophos and my opnsense firewall
the admin of the sophos send me some tracking information and i dont understand how it comes that the opnsense seems to duplicate the request but not routing it through
any ideas?
i opened the firewall on the net he wants to come into..

i noticed a Problem today that in the dynamic view of the firewall logs the click on the action button doesnt show the info from which rule the action was triggered or on what rule it depends.
