I haven't received any email after the changes were made, so I'll go with what I can see in the one I got:

1) no SPF record. Google most certainly will flag you for that. Easy to set up, no maintenance required.

2) flagged by http://blog.pierky.com/dns_from_ahbl_rhsbl-2-699-spamassassin/. Maybe Google is slow to disable it.

The only advantage is rolling back unsuccessful upgrades. Other than that (which shouldn't happen anyway  ;)) there's no other reason to do it.

There are far more important things to be dealt with, than this  :)
