24.1 Legacy Series / opnsense/unbound - memory usage
« on: July 19, 2024, 11:42:03 am »
Hi! :)

Caveat!: I don't understand BSD memory, and only have Linux experience

Version: 24.1.10_3
Arch: amd64

System -> Diagnostics -> Activity shows 8x /usr/local/bin/python3 /usr/local/opnsense/scripts/unbound/logger.py processes, each using about 158MB resident memory

Is that expected? I'm overall curious about memory usage in opnsense. The homepage shows ~3GB in used with a fairly standard set up (also running openvpn)

Thanks
