Hey I hava a same setup as you, I'm trying to migrate from pfsense to opnsense, but stuck at the same problem, did you find a way to solve this issue ? or is it that opnsense doesn't support this kind of config ? Thanks

General Discussion / Multi-wan PPPoe issue
« on: March 22, 2024, 07:55:49 am »
Hi, I've been trying to migrate to opnsense from pfsense for the past week.

My scenario is that i have to use pppoe from my isp and i have a static ip and multiple dynamic ip, i'd like to have my LAN to route through the static ip and the rest to go through dynamic ip.

What i did was i created two WAN, 1 for static and 1 for dynamic, i can see both can dial and get's the correct ip address but when i try to set the gateway in the rule it will case me unable to reach the internet, I've also tried playing with the NAT setting but seems it doesn't work as well.

I was able to use the scenario on my previous pfsense box, so is this feature unsupported on opnsense, or is there something I'm doing wrong ? I'm hoping i can solve this and finish the migration Thanks.
