Hallo,

auf Grund von Problemen mit IPv6 und DG, habe ich mit folgender Anleitung (https://www.blogger-it.de/2023/08/20/ipv6-einrichtung-opnsense-deutsche-glasfaser/) meine Konfiguration so umgestellt.
Da ich mit jetzt nur noch den Prefix hole, hat mein WAN ja nur noch die fe80:....

Mein Wireguard verbindet jetzt nicht mehr. Was muss ich hier jetzt beachten mit den einholen des Präfix?

DeutscheGlasfaser - WAN
100.118.83.250/16
fe80::88a5:f7ff:fec7:8d6%re1/64

LAN
192.168.0.1/24

Es steigt jetzt mittlerweile alle paar Stunden aus. Selbst "11- restart all services" in der shell hilf nicht.
Ist meine DG Konfiguration falsch oder verschluckt sich die OPNSense, weil DG evtl. was umgestellt hat?

Habe das ganze jetzt mal nach folgender Anleitung umkonfiguriert. mal schauen ob das Problem damit gelöst ist:

meine OPnSense zeigt in letzten Tagen folgende Fehler & Problem lässt sich scheinbar nur miteinem Reboot lösen. Komme dann nicht mehr auf die OpnSense selber drauf per HTTP oder SSH. Reboot muss ich via Shell am Gerät selber machen.

DeutscheGlasfaser gibt mir dann wieder eine IP wie erwartet.

Prefix delegation size - 56
Request prefix only - not checked (sonst bekomme ich keine IPv6, sondern nur fe80...)

Versions OPNsense 24.7.6-amd64 FreeBSD 14.1-RELEASE-p5 OpenSSL 3.0.15

to install the  new "fixed" version for testing:

pkg add -f https://pkg.opnsense.org/FreeBSD:14:amd64/snapshots/misc/dhcp6c-20240907.pkg

OR

revert to previously known working from 24.7.1

opnsense-revert -r 24.7.1 dhcp6c

reboot afterwards

AdguardHome starting after upgrade - see other thread and crash due to service -yy ...

the IPv6 should not be local with start fe80... or?

since I updated to OPNsense 24.7.3_1-amd64 I have the same issue on not running IPV6DHCP.

Reading through did not see clear the solution so far... do I need to return to older version or did any tweak help? I went through all 5 pages but maybe missed the key sentence, maybe also due to lack of coffee this morning....

Is there again a issue after the Update to OPNsense 24.7.3_1-amd64 ?

Iam also unable to start my IPV6DCHP Server since the Update & also my WAN_DHCP6 is status red!
How can I see what is the issue?

Surprisingly, in the Interface overview, it show the ISP IPV6 address as before...

In the log I only see:

Könnte auch ein meiner Problem sein das ich folgende nicht gemacht habe? Nutze die Default setting mit 64, aber lief bis dato auch damit...

Folgendes hatte ich nach Forensische gefunden, wo jedoch einiges umgestellt werden muss:

Stelle sicher, dass ,,Send IPv6 prefix hint" aktiviert ist.
Setze die ,,Prefix delegation size" auf 56.

Bring die Kiste doch erstmal auf die aktuelle Version mit der genau diese Probleme gefixt wurden ;)

Heute morgen grad wo ich hier schreibe schon wieder weg & komischer Weise komm ich mit Wireguard auch nicht mehr drauf. Sie Bild im Anhang...

Welche Dienst muss ich Neustarten um das evtl. zu lösen, sonst lass ich es als backup über irgendwen Cronjob Neustarten als Übergangslösung.... nicht schön aber will nicht ausgesperrt sein :D

ja DG ist nicht perfekt aber reicht an sich für alle privaten Zwecke. Das update eine möglich IPv6 Änderung evtl. alle paar Monate war bis jetzt nie ein Thema, solange dynDNS geupdated hatte.

Kann man die WAN IP der opnsense von einem lokalen Rechner auslesen?
Kann mir sonst im Proxmox noch nen kleinen Linux aufsetzen und ddclient manuell von dort Update als Zwischenlösung..

Aktuelle nutze ich das scheinbar aktuellste:
OPNsense 24.1.9_4-amd64
FreeBSD 13.2-RELEASE-p11
OpenSSL 3.0.14

Die Alternative Zugang via LTE Router kann ich mir mal überlegen als zweiten Kanal.

Ist das nicht ne Basisfunktion? Es kann doch nicht sein das weder custom (für dynv6), noch spDYN klappen will.
Kann es sein das aktuell Probleme mit IPv6 bestehen? Während des Betriebs hab ich heute auch gemerkt, das im Dashboard die IPv6 Adresse einfach mal weg war, obwohl alles lief. Nach einem Reboot war wieder der IPv4&IPv6 bei WAN angezeigt...

Was gibt es noch als Alternativen, wollte im Urlaub nicht plötzlich ausgesperrt sein...

Neue Fehlermeldung, ohne Änderung an opnSense am nächsten Tag:

Die IP6 Adress für WAN ist weiterhin im Dashboard angezeigt.... Auch unter Account von Dynamic DNS: Settings steht die IPv6 mit Update Stempel von gestern...

Auf der Website von spDNS steht nur mein manueller Token update von gestern. Hatte ihn einmal gelöscht und neu gesetzt um hier Fehler auszuschließen...
