22.7 Legacy Series / lacp, no interfaces shown to select from

I'm trying to create a lacp of 2 interfaces, but the lagg page doesn't show any interfaces to select for the parent/member interfaces.
version: OPNsense 23.1.a_59-amd64
Hardware is a protectli box with 3 lan interfaces that otherwise all work normally.
I have the igb1 & igb2 interfaces enabled and with no other settings (no ip address or dhcp), I've rebooted.
When I go to Interfaces -> Other Types -> LAGG -> Add -> Parent Interface
The pull-down shows nothing, and when I try to hit the pull-down to select interfaces, almost nothing happens. There is a tiny hint that it tried to show a pull-down but with no elements. It's impossible to select any interfaces since there is nothing shown to select from.
When I try the same thing in Other Types-> Bridge, All the interfaces show up normally in the Member Interfaces pull-down.
The hardware is working. I can use the interfaces for other things just fine.
EDIT: fixed, leaving up I guess for documentation
I had to delete the interfaces from the Assignments page.
