General Discussion / Re: UDP Broadcast Relay
« on: March 23, 2023, 12:09:14 pm »
Hi, I'm also jumping on this thread to say first, it works pretty great with HomeKit and chromecast.
I have no issue using this 2 services but I tried to debug only one issue where in the google home app, I'm unable to configure my nest hub but I can see the player on the small dashboard card or in the media dashboard but when I click on the device, it says that I'm not on the same wifi (but time to time it works and I'm able to configure...).

When it works I can see on the firewall that my phone communicate with the nest port on 8443.
Has someone figured out this thing?

I’ve got the same issue. When rebooting my nas, dhcp does not provide anything bit weirdly if I refresh the relay web page, it provides an ip. Restarting the service seems to fix it

22.1 Legacy Series / Re: Getting disconnect event since 22.1.2

Thanks I will try again with just the new kernel but maybe the issue was already there before with less visibility since after reverting kernel and opnsense, I have the issue one time after rebooting (and maybe after disabling my policy in intrusion detection but not sure…)

EDIT:
Yes after enabling or disabling a policy I have the same issue with the previous version, but maybe this is expected from suricata?
