The patch worked for me as well.  Thanks Franco!

I've also done the uninstall/install and try again.  Same error as everyone else is posting.  I also went through before the reinstall and deleted everything related to nut that was left over and still getting the same error.

22.1 Legacy Series / Re: New 22. series dynamic dns - is this working for others? Where is log file?
« on: February 16, 2022, 07:15:37 pm »
I was wondering about this as well.  I just removed the legacy dynamic dns plugin and installed the new one now that cloudflare was included.  I have it configured (both in general settings and under the cloudflare config) to get the IP address from my WAN interface.  Under the logs I see the following warning:

ddclient[49321]   56394 - [meta sequenceId="1"] WARNING: file /var/tmp/ddclient.cache, line 3: Invalid Value for keyword 'ip' = ''

Prior to that I do see the following though (bottom being the oldest and top being the most recent:

2022-02-16T10:40:44-05:00   Notice   ddclient[49321]   53971 - [meta sequenceId="5"] WARNING: Wait at least 5 minutes between update attempts.
ddclient[49321]   53971 - [meta sequenceId="4"] WARNING: last updated <never> but last attempt on Wed Feb 16 10:39:47 2022 failed.
ddclient[49321]   53971 - [meta sequenceId="3"] WARNING: skipping update of (mydomainname) from <nothing> to (mypublicIPredacted).

I'm unsure if it's actually working or if it's just waiting for the public IP to actually change.

Update:
I may have fixed it.  Looks like the version of ddclient only supports using the global API key and not a created API token specifically setup for updating DNS.  Looks like a known "issue".
