Thanks guys, what I meant was the time stamp changed on the pf4 as it would have been rebuilt today, but that's ok. Running on icmp2 now, looks good so far.

Best to open a GH issue for this. Word on the street is they're taking insults really well up there and should you provide kernel debug logs from both OPNsense and a fresh install of FreeBSD 14.1 a written apology is (almost) guaranteed.
Should the fine gentleman have some more professional venting to impart to the lesser beings on these forums, please do not hesitate to open a new thread.

Here's another independent review
Started mtr on a pi behind the FW and installed/rebooted the kernels starting with PF1.
PF4 is working as expected, the others don't.

Check what version you have now for AGH, it might have reinstalled an older one and the GUI will prompt for an update to v0.107.52

At such a late stage in the game, we might want to wait for FreeBSD 15.1-RELEASE to be out first ? Heard there's a couple extraordinary patches in the queue for FreeBSD 18.0-RELEASE written by a bunch of 13yo kids that they just committed.

I've been running a few APUs for years using that NIC with the official FreeBSD drivers in OPNsense and never had an issue.
That flapping could be caused by the upstream device connected to the APU, the port negotiation might occasionally fail, in which case you can force the OPNsense interfaces to run at 1Gbps full duplex

I've seen these downgrades happening when the AGH package is reinstalled due to a change in the repo, but it is all fine after you do the upgrade again from the AGH GUI
