I'm not too sure what MAC address control is used for, but upon a closer inspection a little further down on that same page there was a DHCP Static Mappings for this interface. If I add my MAC Address to this location instead then it registers with the DHCP server and I am assigned an IP address from the DHCP Pool.

Okay there appears to be a bug with the way DHCP reservations are handled. It requires the MAC address to be inputted in both the " MAC Address Control" as well as in the "DHCP Static Mappings for this interface." section. Ultimately you should only need to register the MAC address under DHCP Static Mappings instead of having two separate locations. It just makes it more difficult to maintain.
