Hi all,

i've been testing ips in hyperscan mode, netflow, proxy and many other services on this APU1D dev board for years now. i can't support statements like small hardware as they're only supposed to be marketing effective or hiding programming errors. all this testing and new plugin fuss about twitter and co. has been added meanwhile. not to mention some forum statements.
in a real quality process, these problems have come to light. what goes wrong? i like to support you!

After Final 19.7 the 3 patches (https://github.com/opnsense/core/issues/3587) are installed on several devices/VM and will be observed. On an APU1D (firmware v4.9.0.7) with 2 cores the difference of the CPU load to 19.1.x is really heavy.

Hi all,

NetFlow e.g. flowd uses up to 90% of a cpu core all the time and when changing the listening interfaces the system freezes again completely (opnsense-patch 24dc2a82b is installed)...?

Hi all,

the HTT flag of AMD GX-412TC is multithreading no hyperthreading and no simultaneous multithreading (SMT)! These are 3 different technologies. The APU2 has only 4 real cores.

When you're in the WebUI, and you've successfully upgraded to the Development Version 19.7r_1, and you go back to the Production Release type to try to Update to r.1, there are three buttons; Update, Unlock and Upgrade.

Use the "Update" button to get r.1

If you Unlock and Upgrade again you will just get back to r_1.

I went through this weird behavior yesterday, too. I had even explicitly typed 19.7.r1 under point 12 in the console to upgrade but ended up with a complete freezing in 19.7.b_148. (cold restart)
Then via the GUI in 19.7.r_1 and sometime in 19.7.r1.
What is still noticeable is that the Smart Plugin doesn't run as a widget anymore and flowd doesn't display any more despite resetting the data.
Up to now I thought this is a special case but here seems to be something wrong.
