16.1 Legacy Series / Static DHCP for laptops with wired and wireless adapter
« on: April 11, 2016, 01:01:26 pm »
Hello,
I am trying to set up static DHCP entries for known clients for my lan.
I use the leases screen and then create static lease from there.
I started with the wired adapter on the laptop, no problems.
Then I connect to WiFi, and get a 2nd address from DHCP. Still no problems.
But when I try to create the static entry for the WiFi adapter, I get the following error message:
The following input errors were detected:This Hostname, IP, MAC address or Client identifier already exists.
IP and MAC address are different, but the Hostname is the same, as this is the same laptop with 2 intrfaced, wired and wireless.
What should I do in this situation.
Thanks, Gyorgy
