this is done already from what I recall, the way packets are shown is
Wanip 72.xx.xx.96:45556 to AD server ip 10.xx.x.2:389
ive done a packet capture and I can see 5 requests coming out but no AD handshake

Im trauggling to find a proper way to connect my opnsense to active directory via ipsec vpn tunnel.
Im sure it will not be the case for ovpn. but the main problem the DC that has AD in is actually using those terrible licensed firewalls that has only ipsec and kerio vpn. so I have configured the ipsec and opnsense is conecting via ipsec to DC and I can ping the AD server.
the crazy part is that I cant get the opnsense to join the AD. Ive done a packet capture and what Im seeing it that AD isnt giving a clear replies. and the funny part is that IPSEC is actually throwing the WAN ip as source. which is bit funny, but can someone share his experience on this??

this is very important feature, just wondering if this is actually supported or not
we have AD groups defined, can we apply ACL based on each group??
for example: secretaries group defined in AD cannot access Social Net webs
IT Dept group defined in AD can see all
Admins dept group defined in AD cannot see porns
Accounts dept group defined in AD cannot see games and porns
things of this nature I recall existed in pfsense so I think its doable in Opnsense.

but what I couldnt do is the bonding, where you have multiple pppoe from the isp and you make bonding using MLPPP and I cant find a clear info about MLPPP in opnsense

I kind of lost it ad I had built MLPPP on the three pppoe connections and Im sure the ISP supports but when it asked for user and password I have 3 users and password for the three pppoe connection we have can someone pls explain clearly step by step how to do the MLPPP over PPPOE

I have some crisis with multi wan pppoe. I did put the modems on bridge mode and opnsense can connect and obtain ips over the wan links (3 wans) and they are working fine but when I try to make grouping and do multiwan
the system does not work properly and I see loss on the connection and it turns unstable

I have done reset and tried the following steps:
Lan ip: 192.168.1.0/24
wan ip: dhcp
opt1: 192.168.2.0/24

then went on and installed pppoe server.
after install I rebooted and made a virtual ip of: 192.168.2.250/32 (alias type) to make pppoe server listen on opt1 iface.
then went to enable pppoe server and made listening ip on opt1 iface and ip: 192.168.2.250
and made a range of 3 ips to assign : 192.168.250.251 - 253
then enabled traffic to pass on pppoe interface on firewall
went to my modem and fired and pppoe client to obtain an ip yes I couldnt see any reply from the pppoe server.
Am I missing any point?
