Maybe there is a „business edition“ for Non-Commercial / Home use in the future…

General Discussion / Unbound DNS not working anymore

Hey guys,

today i have some trouble with my Unbound DNS. It is not working anymore.

My OPNsense version is OPNsense 24.1.1-amd64

I have configured 2 Google DNS over TLS (port 853), IP 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 which was working well for a while.

After the issue i disabled DNS over TLS and checked the "Use System Nameserver" Box but there was no difference.

When i enter the Google DNS to my clients everything works as expected.

Any ideas what i can also check?

For now i'm using Dnsmaq, but i surely want to find the error.

Hope someone can help me.

Edit: What I see before the Unbound DNS / Statistics was also not loading.

Hey,

braucht halt relativ viel Strom.

Besser sind die mobile Prozessoren (n100, n200 oder i3-n305).

Wenn Strom keine Rolle spielt dann ok.

Fertige Sets sind außerdem auf Hardware getestet und brauchen weniger Platz.

Zu den Netzwerk Karten kann ich nicht viel sagen. Ich hab bei mir eine i226v (2.5G) und die funktioniert gut.

ZenArmor is with local elasticsearch installed.

Error   configd.py   action sensei.update-install.os-sensei-db not found for user root

I think so too. Maybe you have to set speed and duplex to Gigabit and Full-Duplex.

If you have Multimode you can also check the red light of the transceiver (incoming and outgoing).
