Virtual private networks / Erroropenvpn_client1TCP/UDP: Socket bind failed: Addr to bind has no AF_INET6
« on: August 20, 2023, 02:59:27 am »
Hello!  I searched the forums but couldn't find a solution.  As of the last Opnsense update my VPN configuration no longer works. I made no changes to the client configuration however, I am unavailable to connect and the VPN log shows this error:

Error   openvpn_client1   TCP/UDP: Socket bind failed: Addr to bind has no AF_INET6 record

Any help is appreciated!

General Discussion / Re: Portforwarding Tablo DVR -- Help!

I figured it out! My Fios router was blocking the ports. I put my router's ip into the DMZ on the fios router and all port rules forwarding worked!

General Discussion / Portforwarding Tablo DVR -- Help!
« on: October 05, 2018, 05:42:25 am »
Using the setup guide found here: https://support.tablotv.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005962283-Tablo-Connect-and-Port-Forwarding

I attempted to create port forwarding rules so I will be able to access my Tablo DVR from outside my home network.

I initially created two rules under port forwarding that set the destination port ranges to the public port given by my tablo and the redirect port range set to the private ports given by my tablo. However, I have no success getting a connection outside my home network.

I also tried several port combinations within the rules but nothing seems to work.

Essentially I am trying to create two rules that do the following:

Public Port 21010 forwards to Private Port 80 at 192.168.XXX.XXX (Tablo's IP address) using TCP protocol

Public Port 21011 forwards to Private Port 8887 at 192.168.XXX.XXX (Tablo's IP address) using TCP protocol

Any help is appreciated!!!
