18.1 Legacy Series / forticlient can't connect to remote server
« on: March 21, 2018, 03:38:52 pm »
Hi. I can't connect to my work network from my home where I have opnsense router. Forticlient uses sslvpn and when I enter my credencials and click connect all I get is info that remote server is unreachable. Opnsense is blocking connection, but where and why? If someone could help where to look...

https://lkhill.com/telegraf-influx-grafana-network-stats/

telegraf writes stats to influxdb, grafana takes those stats and plot graphs. i have influxdb and grafana on separate small vm

HA, found it!

in /usr/local/etc/telegraf.conf there is:
Code: [Select]
[[inputs.disk]]

[[inputs.diskio]]

[[inputs.mem]]

[[inputs.processes]]

[[inputs.system]]

[[inputs.net]]

while this part should be:
Code: [Select]
[[inputs.disk]]

[[inputs.diskio]]

[[inputs.mem]]

[[inputs.processes]]

[[inputs.system]]

[[inputs.net]]

There is telegraf plugin which writes all those stats to influxdb/graphite/graylog.

And I have one problem with this plugin. I was using it on 18.1.1, worked fine. My router's drive crashed, reinstalled opnsense to new drive, updated to 18.1.2 and now telegraf don't output 'system' section of stats. When I check in influxdb 'show measurements' there is no system.

oh. Yeah, I checked and driver is 1.93. too bad that under long upload saturating my connection network dies and only reset helps. So it is intel 4port card and different build :)

o Replace Realtek re(4) driver with vendor version 1.93

as a user of zotac ci323, can this be added to 17.1.x?

Yes, all turned off and zotac restarted.

I forgot to mention: after some time, with ips turned on, connection to internet dies.

Hi.
I'am using Zotac ci323. I have 250/20 Mbps connection.
opnsense 17.1.3
When I turn on intrusion detection everything works fine. When I turn IPS mode on, download speeds slows down from 10 MB/s to ~1,2MB/s.

What should I post more?
