 I have same error with new installation of Opnsense 19.7.6

The portal page answer "AUTHENTICATION FAILED" ,   but in log of captive, my user is   " AUTH "

Il faut gérer l'identification PPOE sur l'OPNSENSE, ainsi que le VLAN
Après tout dépends du type de connexion Fibre ou DSL.

Hello,
I have many VPN IPSEC with VTI  on Opnsense A10 quad core.
it works good, but i have a question.

In logs, I have : 

querying policy 0.0.0.0/0 === 0.0.0.0/0 out failed, not found

What is this fault ? can you explain me ?

Mise à jour de 5 OPNSENSE en 19.1, avec diverses configurations (ipsec proxy.... ), et  aucun problème pour l'instant à remonter .

Soit tu fais du routage avec l'OPENSENSE, soit avec le switch.
Dans Opnsense, il suffit de faire 1 règle dans chaque interface  :
PASS - PROTOCOL=ANY SRC= VLAN_X  DEST=VLAN_Y PORT = ANY
PASS - PROTOCOL=ANY SRC= VLAN_Y  DEST=VLAN_C PORT= ANY

Un PC sur le VLAN20 (IP fixe (192.168.1.50/24) + l'IP du VLAN20 du FW en passerelle (192.168.2.1)) :

le VLAN20 ne peut être en 192.168.1.0/24 et avoir comme passerelle 192.168.2.1

Salut,
avec 4 interfaces sur ton parefeu, pas besoin de vlan. car si tu veux faire des vlan, il te faut un switch manageable.

Dans ton cas, j'activerais  le wifi de ton Qotom, pour un sous réseau dédié au wifi invité avec portail captif.

pour ta caméra,  n'ouvre pas de ports depuis l'extérieur, et tu n'auras pas de problème de hack. si tu veux la consulter depuis l'extérieur tu actives Openvpn.

Salut,
Les 2 solutions fonctionnent:

soit tu gardes ton interface LAN, et tu rajoutes tes vlans.
Sur ton switch, tu peux créer un autre VLAN en UNTAGGED, et tu auras alors accès à ton interface LAN.

soit tu supprimes ton LAN, et tu rajoutes tes VLAN, qui seront en TAGGED sur le switch.

Hi,
I can't use my template in portal captive. When i edit zone in portal captive, i cant' choose custom template, it's empty !!

I try with Firefox , IE, Chrome, same problem.
Version of OPnsense is 18.1.7.

If i use version 18.1.6, i have not this problem

In France , it's legal, if you can unsubcribe to the mail list, and you must mark this, on page of captive portal.

I think I would have a lot of fake email, but it's not very important for my client

Hello,
VPN IPSEC between OPNSENSE and DRAYTEK  works very good.
Don't forget in Lan-to-lan profiles in Draytek, to activate  "Call direction BOTH"

It's easy to configurate.

Si tu as bien fait la conf , tu as une règle pour autoriser ton réseau lan à accéder à ton proxy sur le port XXX.
Dans  cette règle, tu as l'option " Schedule , à affecter à ta plage horaire..

Dans Rules/Lan,  il te faut 2 règles:
PASS  source=LAN-NET  Destination=LAN-ADRESS Port destination=PORT-PROXY
BLOCK source=LAN-NET DESTINATION=ANY PORT=ANY

et tu affectes tes plages horaires à la 1ere regle
