24.7 Production Series / Update cert via API

I have tried many different ways to update the Web GUI cert via the API set command and it always fails.
Are there any examples of how to form the post? Should the cert and key be base64 encoded or not. The documentation is not clear on the params and how they should be formatted.
Any help is much appreciated.
