Web Proxy Filtering and Caching / Trouble with proxing access to domains
« on: October 12, 2023, 10:28:07 pm »
I have a situation where i do not know what can be done, only what i have and what i want to be able, also do not know the names for this kinda problem.
Right now I have all my traffic running through a OPNsense server.
In another VM i have a server serving a webpage accessible on the web through cloudflare's cloudflared and them to a Nginx application and finally the page itself. It's a FrigateNVR.
What I want is while Im on the local network, this traffic do not need to go through cloudflared, because it's slow for somethings. Is amazing for remote access, but I want everyone in my home to be able to type the URL and see the cameras.
I have tried to use chatgpt and other guides to set this up, HAProxy, unbound DNS, firewall, it seems like or ChatGPT is unable to acomodate all the edges here, or is not possible like I want.
If so, what would I need to research, or even do, to this be possible?
The most important question for using cloudflare is security, as I can use their email/password to be able to see the domain.
Any help would be more than appreated thanks!
