Zenarmor (Sensei) / cant select assigned wan interface on zenarmor.

cant select my assigned wan interface for zenarmor.
have worked perfect until yesterday (after a reboot).

when if I change the wan interface to one of the interface the zenarmor can identify it will not work.
So i guess its something in a config thats messing things up. If its the opnsense config or the zenarmors config I dont know.

on the images igb2 is my interface assigned to be the wan interface.

I have uninstalled (deleted all files) zenarmor
I have "factory reseted" the zenarmor packetengine.

nothing seems to be working.

I cant update opnsense.
it just get stuck (not checking repos for update).

everything else works fine ?

any clues ?

23.7 Legacy Series / cpu spikes after OPNsense 23.7.2 upgrade.

my dec3850 is have become really loud overnight.
the fans goes at the highest speed all the cpu usage goes "low" 16% usage and peaks up to 70% usage. from time to time.

it also takes long time to check for updates, it feels like something is using up the cpu and some services have to wait until its avabile.

anyone else got them problems ?

General Discussion / DEC3850 crashed - have problems reinstalling.

I got a dec3850 to play with.
it crashed after some hours of usage.

The attachment shows how it looks when I try to boot it. (connected with console cable).
Im trying to boot it up with a usb drive with the 23.7 (console) version cant get it to work.
the usb drive works on a pc (bare metal).
is there something Im missing ?

Intrusion Detection and Prevention / Private VLAN PVLAN

Hello !
Im thinking about using a DEC3850 to the maximum.
I want to be able to inspect packets (IPS) between clients on the same subnet (vlan).
I think the best way to go is to use PrivateVLANs PVLAN. is this supported in opnsense ?

open for other solutions ofc
