22.7 Legacy Series / Maltrail on 22.7.10_2 still not working

Hi guys, I keep having problems with maltrail. I tried again to reinstall it, hoping that the problems had been solved, but despite the plugin installs correctly, maltrailserver does not start... the red square remains and it is not possible to start it... Any ideas?

Hi guys, I noticed that the py37-markupsafe package was still present after updating to version 22.7 and therefore I removed it from ssh with the command

# pkg remove py37-markupsafe without problems. I decided to reinstall mailtrail after last year's problems that caused the uncontrolled increase in swap memory but I found some problems. Installed maltrail, the plugin does not start: if I do a health-check the error that arises is

maltrail-0.47: checksum mismatch for /usr/local/share/maltrail/maltrail.conf
By reinstalling the package, this error disappears, the plugin starts but does not record anything, the health-check does not release any errors but the maltrail's log remains empty.
If I restart the machine, the mismatch checksum of the.conf file appears again.
Do you have any ideas to solve the problem?

Italian - Italiano / Upgrade a 22.7

Ho avuto la malsana idea di fare l'upgrade alla 22.7...a parte che non funziona più nulla a livello di webgui (come ho scritto nel forum inglese).
Ma parliamo della traduzione italiana tradotta col traduttore automatico...log--->tronco d'albero, captive portal--->portale prigioniero...

Good evening guys, after the last update I noticed that the webgui is totally not working: you can not navigate the menus (clicking nothing happens and the widget screen is totally white) and the translation into Italian is really bizarre (it seems autotranslated...). Did it happen only to me?

Buona sera ragazzi, dopo quasi 3 mesi dalla prima segnalazione, ancora, a quanto ho capito non sono stati risolti i problemi di esaurimento memoria ram e swap a seguito dell'aggiornamento di maltrail e python...
E' dall'aggiornamento alla 21.7.1 che io (e non solo) ho riscontrato tale problematica.
Esiste qualche soluzione?

21.7 Legacy Series / 21.7.1 and high swap usage

Hi guys, after the upgrade to 21.7.1 I've noticed a very high consumption of ram and swap: ram over 50% and swap, after a couple of days of activity, at 99%  .
Clearly this problem is solved by restarting, but in all these years of use it had never happened to me. It is absolutely not a machine problem, as it mounts an i5-9400F with 16 Gb of ram. Reading on the net someone suggestedd to disable the ipv6, but I currently, on this infrastructure, don't use it.
Has it happened to others? Thanks for the answers.

21.1 Legacy Series / Captive portal and user registration

Good evening guys.
I ask for your help with an issue on which I am having some difficulties not knowing OPNsense in depth and coming from other platforms: I would need to enable the captive portal for the vlan dedicated to wifi.
We were evaluating with colleagues to enable it both with the local database (those who already have, for example the vpn credentials, could connect with those credentials) and with the vouchers.
Enabled in this way it works correctly and without problems ... the problem with vouchers is that sending username and pass individually to each of the users (being several hundred users) is not exactly convenient, not to mention that in case of loss of credentials we could have a problem.
Is there a way to create a local database or a login server where the password could be, for example, the company email that every employee has? By entering, perhaps, these values ​​en masse through a csv file or similar and using these credentials to allow staff to log in?
Or a way of allowing staff to register exclusively with the email address n.surname@company.it, automatically discarding any other email not belonging to the company domain?

Buona sera ragazzi.
Chiedo il vostro aiuto per una questione sulla quale sto trovando alcune difficoltà non conoscendo in maniera approfondita OPNsense e venendo da altre piattaforme: avrei necessità di abilitare il captive portal per la vlan dedicata alla wifi.
Stavamo valutando con i colleghi di abilitarlo sia col local database (chi già ha, per esempio le credenziali delle vpn, potrebbe usare quelle) che con i voucher.
Abilitato in questa maniera funziona correttamente e senza problemi...il problema dei voucher è che inviare singolarmente nome utente e pass ad ognuno degli utenti (essendo diverse centinaia di utenti) non è esattamente comodo, senza contare che in caso di smarrimento delle credenziali potrebbe sorgere un problema non da poco.

Esiste un modo di creare un database locale oppure un server di login dove la password potrebbe essere, ad esempio, la mail aziendale che ogni dipendente ha? Inserendo, magari, in massa tali valori tramite un file csv o similare ed usare tali credenziali per permettere al personale di loggarsi?
Oppure una maniera di permettere al personale di registrarsi esclusivamente con la mail n.cognome@azienda.it, scartando in automatico qualsiasi altra mail non appartenente al dominio aziendale?

20.7 Legacy Series / Block access to webGUI in a specific VLAN

Good evening!
I have a question to ask: in the company we have an external consultant who deals exclusively with the maintenance of the voip pbx, therefore in order to allow him to work I created a dedicated openVPN server that allows him to access exclusively the VLAN of the voip and the class of ip addresses assigned to both the switchboard and the telephones (192.168.5.0/24).
By doing so, it cannot ping or reach other VLANs or address classes.
It can reach the pbx webGUI but it can also reach the OPNSense webGUI, which is reachable at the default gateway address (192.168.5.1) of the vlan voip.
At the level of the openVPN certificate, administrative access to the webgui is clearly disabled, but I would like this page to be unreachable for that vpn server and its possible users.
I assume you can do a dedicated rule on the firewall, but I honestly have no idea how to block this.

Hello guys, I installed and then removed Sensei and the Sunnyvalley repository (the plugin is interesting, but alas too resource-intensive).
After the removal, however, from the "Plugin" menu the uninstalled products are marked in red and tagged as missing ... is there any way to permanently remove them without making a mess?

Hello guys, I was setting up the captive portal.

Apparently everything works without problems, but on the console I noticed some bizarre errors and I honestly don't understand what they refer to ... could you help me?
