Greetings y'all. I searched back to June in this forum area and couldn't find any related posts, so here goes my issue:

I can no longer start the Zenarmor packet engine and I get these errors in notifications area:

* Error parsing lan interface configuration, bailing out

* Failed initializing network interfaces
netmap_register_if: igc2: NIOCREGIF ioctl failed for the interface: Cannot allocate memory

This issue started occurring after I set the following tunables on my Opnsense firewall:

dev.netmap.buf_num : 1000000
dev.netmap.ring_size : 4096
dev.netmap.generic_ringsize : 4096
dev.igc.0.fc : 0
dev.igc.1.fc : 0
dev.igc.2.fc : 0
hw.igc.max_interrupt_rate : 12000

My firewall was also restarted after making the above changes as well.

Current version and mode:
OPNsense 25.7.7_4-amd64
FreeBSD 14.3-RELEASE-p4
Zenarmor netmap is in emulated mode

After upgrading from the latest 24.x to 25.1.3 yesterday, something is going on with my port forward NAT rule for Plex.
Plex shows remote access connected and green for about 3-5sec ,then it changes to 'Not available outside your network'.

Plex settings has always been setup with manual remote access port 32400.

Checking back on the Plex settings page regularly, it's evident that it's repeatedly flip-flopping, which is also evident with my Tautulli notification that monitors Plex remote access status.

Prior to upgrading my firewall, this was not an issue. All NAT and WAN interface rules are the same and no other known changes...

Changing NAT rule from TCP to TCP/UDP doesn't resolve it, which was a test as I know only TCP should be needed.

I am also not doing double NAT.

What's even more odd, I'm not able to reproduce any remote access issues with the Plex app when I simulate a remote connection on my cell phone cellular network or from a different ISP and geo. However, my remote friend is no longer able to connect the Plex from multiple devices.

Also when monitoring the firewall traffic, I see the inbound connections successfully being established on Port 32400/TCP and nothing's getting dropped.

I started getting this shortly after upgrading to 24.7.x and continue to get it currently on 24.7.10_2 with Zenarmor engine ver. 1.18.4

I just started to experience issues shortly after upgrading to 24.7.x
Where the dashboard items intermittently do not load and the WebGUI overall hangs until I reboot every few days or so.

I cannot even get firmware status or check for updates when it is in this state, nor can I get past SSH login prompt. As though it does not like my password...

But after forceful reboot, all back to normal for a few days...

I went ahead and forced shutdown of Opnsense (running on Protectli J3710) and then updated to 24.7.10_1

However, the dashboard widget content failures are already starting again and this usually is the preamble to the WebGUI hangs and inability to login to SSH.

Any suggestions?

24.1 Upgrade Not Available on Community US Mirrors yet. I see it was released this morning under announcements. I'm currently on 23.7.12
When will this actually be available to upgrade to?

I'm being advised by Zenarmor to upgrade for the wireguard kernel mode netmap support, so I can effectively protect my wireguard interface.

Has anyone upgraded to 24.1 RC1 to test this and how stable is it?
