General Discussion / NUT Plugin not properly working
« on: August 10, 2019, 06:17:06 pm »
After installing the nut-plugin I encountered some serious problems. I finally found out that the ups.conf file contains a duplicate entry:
[CS350]
driver=usbhid-ups
port=auto
[CS350]
driver=apcsmart
port=auto
During startup the system complains about this duplicate entry and tries to use the apcsmart driver which does not work, so nut_daemon does not run.
If I delete the second half of the ups.conf file and restart net_upsmon everything runs fine.
But ... after a reboot the ups.conf contains the duplicate entry again and the ups connection fails.
Does anybody know where this duplcate entries are saved besides ups.conf ? It must be somehow restored during boot and I don't know how to get rid of it. I tried every alternative uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin but no success.
Can anybody help ?
Thank you.
