24.7 Production Series / Reload Interface Button on WAN interface over ssh

Hi,

I´ve got an issue on OPNSense start, my LAN Interface doesn´t get an ipv6 (track interface) from WAN interface.
But if I klick reload on Interfaces->Overview at the WAN interface, it gets a new ipv6.

So how can I perform this click over ssh?
Wich scripts can I start?

/usr/local/sbin/configctl interface linkup stop <interface> && /usr/local/sbin/configctl interface reconfigure <interface> && /usr/local/sbin/configctl interface linkup start <interface>

doesn´t work.

24.7 Production Series / IPv6 delegation from FritzBox doesn´t work anymore

Hi,

it worked well the whole time.
All of a sudden I don't get an ipv6 subnet assigned, even though my Fritzbox has been given a network to delegate from my ISP.

IPv6-Adresse: 2a00:XXXX:XXXX:XX::XXXX/64, Gültigkeit: 3433/3433s
IPv6-Präfix: 2a00:XXXX:XXXX:XXXX::/56, Gültigkeit: 3433/3433s

Restarted FritzBox and OPNSense serveral times.

Virtual private networks / Wireguard /usr/local/bin/wg-quick where is it? Restart wireguard tunnel

Hi,

I´ve a static wireguard connection to a server with an variable IP-address.
So I set an monit service with testing ping over the tunnel.

I want to restart tunnel with /usr/local/bin/wg-quick up wg2.
This works fine. but after last update /usr/local/bin/wg-quick doesn´t  exists anymore.


Where is wg-quick now?
So how I restart a wireguard server?

Virtual private networks / Wireguard PostUP?? or ipv6 tunneling

Hi,

I want to tunnel all my traffic from mobile to OPNSense to internet (ipv4 and ipv6).
For ipv6 I set private ipv6 addresses.
Now OPNSense has to masquerade ipv6 to its public ipv6...

So I need to set up e.g.
  command      ip -6 neigh add proxy fdc0:9999:9999::2 dev wg0
Is there a way to do so?

My Log ist full of....(every seconds)

Internetconnection is running since 14.05.2023, 07:28 Uhr...

So what is going on?

in LiveView my last entries are from 05.03.2023, it doesn´t show new entries anymore?
Reboot already done.
How can I fix it?

23.1 Legacy Series / IPv6 Prefix Change - no connection - routes?

Hi,

I´ve connected my OPNSense to a FritzBox.
I get a /60 Prefix delegation. But when the Prefix changes, OPNSense get it on it´s interface and change ip´s correct. But there is no connection anymore, until I restart OPNSense. After that, it works fine.

I think, it´s a bug?!
Are routes defect?
Can I start a script manually to reconfigure OPNSense on connection loss?

Hi,

I´ve got massive problems with OPNSense and my wan.
Sometimes ipv4 goes away and does´t come back.

when I set

dhclient -c /var/etc/dhclient_wan.conf vtnet0
configctl interface reconfigure wan
/usr/local/bin/php /usr/local/etc/rc.newwanip vtnet0

I saw a new ipv4 on interface and can ping 8.8.8.8 on firewall, but the gatway is down and my networks cant pint 8.8.8.8.

I can´t get ipv4 gateway up.
After reboot OPNSense, it works....

Hi,

my problem is, sometimes OPNSense lose ipv4 or ipv6 adress without getting new.
When I go to bash and run "service dhclient restart vtnet0" it starts dhclient (wich was not running) and after that, i got a new ip...

Is dhclient the correct service in OPNSense or what is going wrong?!

Hi,

I‘ve problems on WAN and would to renew my ipv4 and ipv6 over bash.

But when I use

system dhclient restart vtnet0

It says, dhclient is aleeady running under pid….

When I try to stop  sudo service dhclient stop vtnet0
"vtnet0' is not a DHCP-enabled interface"

Hoe can I renew my ipadresses??

 ifconfig igb0 down

 ifconfig igb0 up

will stop traffic for a time, thats not good.

My OPNSense WAN is connected to on an "Deutsche Glasfaser" modem.
I´ve two gateways, one for IPv6 and one for IPv4.
Every day my ipv4 Gateway goes offline (Monitor) and doesn´t come up.
When I push "reload" on Interfaces->Overview->reload it comes up.

Where can I see (logs etc.) where is the fault?

wie kann ich über die Konsole ein deaktiviertes Interface wieder aktiv schalten?
Leider habe ich mich etwas ausgeschlossen.

22.7 Legacy Series / DNS request sometimes dropped - options single-request-reopen

Hi,

since I use OPNSense, my dns-requests are take long (5 seconds).

So my workaround was to add /etc/resolv.conf -> options single-request-reopen.
But this is not fine.

So I think, its this problem here:

How can I configure OPNSense to work with this?

German - Deutsch / Virtuelle IP für Port - Weiterleitung - funktioniert nicht im selben Netz?

Hallo,

folgende Problem:
Ich habe auf einem Server ein Docker-Image in zwei verschiedenen Containern geladen.
Dort kann ich dann natürlich den Port nicht doppelt vergeben, sondern ich habe
Containter A 19132
Container B 18132

Die Anwendung kann aber nur Fest auf 19132 zugreifen.

Also habe ich in OPNSense eine VirtuelleIP-Adresse angelegt.
Dann ein PortForward für diese Adresse und den Port 19132 auf den Server mit Umleitung auf Port 18132.

Wenn ich nun über Wireguard in mein Netz komme funktioniert diese Lösung.
Nur im eigenen Netz läuft es nicht?! In den Logs sehe ich, dass die Virtuelle IP ankommt. Aber irgendwo klemmt es??

Also kurz gesagt, wie kann ich eine PortWeiterleitung im selben netz laufen lassen?
