General Discussion / OpenSense 19.1 on ESXI need help!
« on: March 27, 2019, 12:44:13 pm »
Hi!,
I have a strange problem whit simple configuration on Opensense
, im wondering if is related to the Hypervisorr that i use  VmWare Esxi 6.7, i just install Opensense,
set Wan on the bridged network whit one of my public IP addresses, set lan on my internal (isolated only for 2 virtual machines ) network ,
 internet link is ok anything is ok.
but if i create a simple rule on the firewall it dosent work,
 i already removed the block on private networks in the wan interface,but if i create a simple port forwarding it dont work ;
The rule of the firewall dosent work, but if i create the port forwarding setting "pass" on filter rule association it work so i think the problem is firewall rule related.Same problem if i configure an OpenVPN server,
 i creaate the CA the server certificate the user whit the user certificate and the VPN server(i have done it a lot of times whit pfsense) and i have handshaked fail error,
couse the firewall rule for UPD 1194 dosent work,
 i tried to do it also whit TCP 1194 port and same issue and scannig the port on the public ip from outside infact it result closed,
if i configure PfSense whit the identical configuration on the same public address it work fine,
i have reinstalled Opensense 3 times getting everytime th same issue,
getting crazy..i think all the problems are related to firewall rules.. anyone have experienced the same issue?
