General Discussion / DOMAIN CONTROLLER AND DNS SERVER

I Have all pcs on office configured by domain controller who is dns server, now i install opnsense acting of dns server instead of the first, i prefer opnsense because is the gateway and firewall of all, but today o figure that i can't connect new computer to the domain because dns are all on opnsense, what is the best configuration in this case, put the dns out of firewall or mantain the dns on the server 2012 of the controller.

I setup a multiwan scenario, all with fixed ips and different monitors for each gateway, but when i change de default all allow rule on LAN with the MULTIWAN gateway it seems all go down, dns, etc... I have the defautl gateway with unbound. I put DNS rule before LAN allow rule too. Anyone with similar issues?

I have all configured, but when i try to ping www.google.com -t on cmd over a windows client host, i see a lot of timeouts interfering the normal pings, how i can resolve this?

General Discussion / Named pipes connection for SQL

I have the DNS Server with one server of my LAN with windows server 2012 r2, all clients of opnsense dhcp seems to have this server as default, my question is... when i do a connection on any machine of my LAN throught this configuration on opnsense with this server on dns, is the named pipes connection passing throught OPNSense or is connected directly over my server?

General Discussion / Redis/Notpng reset

I have problems with redis, and consequencies notpg plugin, when start firewall in shell say me something about not default parameters and It can't start, how i can reset the plugin because i can't start it.

I try uninstalling and installing again but nothing, how i can change something on shell in console or something like that, i don't know coany mmands over shell.

i have setup de multiwan but when i enable de monitor ip on the wan interfaces the wan service go down randomly, i thing the plugin of that ping is not working like it would be normal.

Thanks, any other with same simptoms?

Hardware and Performance / Slow downloads OPNSENSE over PC

I migred Lan clients from sonicwall to opnsense, but when i try to download something on opnsense downloads are so slowed, on sonicwall its fine, i have all lan rule open and nic cards not usb for networking with 1gb switches, why is slow downloads? I try disabling Clamav and Ips but all the same, no good performance, the pc is so new, not an old one, and all nics realtek.

I created a vpn open ssl warrior, works fine with viscosity, but i want to access on remote folders of office from house, how i have to proceed? I have acces over vnc and rdp but i dont know how to configure folders remote.

Tengo varios servidores SQL y me gustaria saber como afecta el rendimiento el OPNSense, tengo las reglas LAN to LAN * * en principio pasa todo, pero tambien tengo el IPS enabled asi como el Clamv el antivirus, he provado a desconetar el IPS i el antivirus pero sigue lento igual, hay algo que bloquea el SQL en el Firewall?

Could be possible on future allow OPNSense firewall be configured via app store application? Could be great.

I'm using UNIFI system and the app is fantastic, better than the firewall itself.
