22.1 Legacy Series / Appliance running hotter after 22.1 update?

I have a Qotom i7 that I've been running Opnsense on which consistently stayed about 50-55 prior with 21.7.  Now  its between 63-70 Celsius.

No errors, or anything out of the ordinary that I can tell so far.

Zenarmor (Sensei) / Sensei service stopped

I upgrade to the latest opnsense update and saw this morning that the sensei service stopped with hi swap usage.

Any ideas? My system has been working fine for a long time w/ sensei.

21.7 Legacy Series / Stuck on fetching new update to 21.7.1 for awhile

I am trying to update one my clients to latest build but its been stuck on fetching 21.7.1 for awhile.  Stuck may not be the actual correct word, the "." indicator is ticking right along...its prob been about 15-20 minutes.  No issues with ISP or network.

Hardware and Performance / Hardware recommendations for 10G upgrade

Any hardware recommendations for 10G upgrade?

Currently have a qotom i7 been using for the past 2 years, absolutely love that thing.  Excellent performance.

Looking to explore options with 10G NIC.

Wish list:

Decent or lower power consumption
rack mount, 1U ideal but got plenty of space
Front face IO
Mix of 10G and 1G Intel Nics

19.7 Legacy Series / SOLVED -- Baffled by a port forwarding issue

I have DVR in which I have setup port forwarding.  The DVR also has a remote app that works great as well.
All the rules have been setup in WAN.

The issue that I am having is that I am able to view the camera's via the app outside the network however inside the network I am not able to do so.  The DVR is accessible via web page inside the network as well as VPN.  Under firewall advanced, reflection for port forwards, reflection 1:1, and automatic outbound NAT is checked.

The app itself does use a different port to view and that is also setup properly.

I am just baffled on why I can't view the cameras on my app inside the network.

19.1 Legacy Series / Unable to assign a static LAN IP address on dhcp4

I did a fresh install of open and wanted to assign static IP address for lan. 

Under services, dhcpv4, leases, I see the entire list however there is no plus sign there to assign a static.  This is how I usually did it before.

I tried rebooting the firewall and stop and starting the services, but that didn't work.

I have that latest production firmware.

Any ideas?

Is there a way to email or notify if a new lan ip was given out and added to the network?  I believe I saw somewhere to deny new lan DHCP requests, but dont want to do that just yet.

Any third party/free/open source solutions out there to monitor the network?

I have had my port forwarding setup for awhile, everything was working smoothly.

Now it has stopped and can't figure out why.

19.1 Legacy Series / Upgrade question

I changed my updates to developmental to download Wireguard and added the Wireguard plug in.

Recently a update showed up so I updated and server rebooted with no issues.

I checked for update and it said a update was available per the attached screen.

I hit unlock and then upgrade and received this error:

18.7 Legacy Series / Fresh install on new box

I did a fresh install on a new i5 16gb 128gb mini Co, yes l know of er kill, but the web GUI takes about 20-30 seconds to load.  Once loads it’s fine however even on refresh of the page takes a 20 seconds or so.

So far everything else seems to be fine.

My other installs the GUI loads pretty quickly.

Intrusion Detection and Prevention / IDS/IPS usage with Promox VM / Opnsense Setup

Sorry if this is older topic and or already covered.

Does the issue with assigning a VIRTIO driver for a Opnsense in a Proxmox VM and using IDS/IPS still an issue?  Only way to get IPS to work is using E1000 driver?

Any work arounds or further update?
