19.7 Legacy Series / Unbound resolver and private address
« on: October 06, 2019, 03:49:00 pm »
Hello,
I use an openvpn client on my computer. The IPs I access are from Network 10.0.0.0/8. I have a dns A record for these IPs, but when I'm behind the OpnSense firewall I can't access them.

After some time searching for the problem, I realized that this was unbound and a setup in /usr/local/etc/inc/plugins.inc.d/unbound.inc in the DNS Rebinding Setup section

I commented on the line "private-address: 10.0.0.0/8", then overwritten the unbound settings and everything worked.

Is this foreseeable in the future to be configurable via the web interface?

19.1 Legacy Series / After updating, I can not connect to the pptp server.
« on: June 13, 2019, 09:37:01 am »
Hello,
after upgrading to the latest version (OPNsense 19.1.9-amd64) pptp does not work. Prior to the upgrade, it worked.

I use 2 clients, under android and linux. The log file on the server is nothing like an error.

Someone had a similar problem. I can not understand why it does not work.

19.1 Legacy Series / Problems with multiwan and unbound
« on: May 06, 2019, 08:36:34 pm »
Hello,
i have 2 internet providers. I have made a balance between the two internet providers.
I used this documentation: https://wiki.opnsense.org/manual/how-tos/multiwan.html
But I have a problem with unbound.
If I make point 4, unbound does not work. All who are behind opnsense have no resolv.
If i remove it unbound works, but i have no balancing of traffic.

Did anyone have a similar problem or idea what is happening.

« on: February 17, 2019, 10:32:07 am »
Hello,

I have been watching the last few days after I upgraded to 19.1 that sqlite3 is doing a high IO.
/usr/local/bin/sqlite3 /var/netflow/src_addr_details_086400.sqlite.fix

Somebody have an idea what's going on.
This makes redundancy over SSD about 1GB in 10 sec.
