19.1 Legacy Series / VGA Text display Freezes at boot after 19.1 update, but...... OPNSense works

Hi All, this is a new one for me.
I upgraded from 18.7 -->19.1. OPNSense is running on a Micro Appliance With 4x Intel Gigabit Ports, Intel Atom E3845, AES-NI, 4GB RAM, 32GB mSATA. Display/keyboard/mouse through a raritan kvm device.
After update the monitor display freezes during booting (Pls see attachment). I was guessing a kernel panic of some sort..... But
However, to my shock
.... The boot completes successfully (even though the display freezes) in the background, the interfaces come up, and the Webpage is accessible.
I rebooted a number of times, the display freeze is consistent.
Nothing of note could be found in the logs.....
I would love any ideas? .......... Because I'm out of them
