General Discussion / All devices but static IP's suddenly showing offline and no internet access
« on: September 02, 2018, 05:42:17 pm »
I have a basic setup.  Two LAN interfaces 192.168.15.--- and 192.168.16.---  These two ports connect to the wan, which connects to the campground router.  Suddenly, all connected devices are showing offline and have no internet access.  The weird thing is, I have my own PC set up with a static mapping and it can connect to the internet with no issue.  (note that all connections are through wireless AP's)
I have only the basic pass rules in place that were placed with initial setup.  (default allow LAN to any rules).
I can't figure out why static address' would have no problem but any device obtaining a standard dhcp address shows offline and can't even ping the wan.  Any ideas?
Thank you for reading

General Discussion / Captive portal page not found
« on: August 22, 2017, 11:06:22 pm »
So, I have two interfaces set up as described in the guest network setup.  I have created and uploaded my template.  everything shows up.  I created the rules as described, creating a rule for each interface..  When I plug in a test laptop it simply says page not found when trying to connect on either of the guest interfaces.  Connected another pc with same issue and tried multiple browsers.  config -  wan, LAN-192.168.14.1 - opt1-192.168
.15.1 (for guest), opt2 - 192.168.16.1 (for guest)...  This is a campground with multiple access points thus the two interfaces.  So, with portal and dns forward enabled..  why no redirect to the captive portal page?
Did a lot of looking in the docs and forums before I posted so I'm not just asking before looking.  If I missed something I'm sorry please be kind, just figuring this out.

General Discussion / Multiple IP's in shaper rule
« on: August 10, 2017, 05:26:47 am »
So, I have an interface configured at 192.168.16.1/24... What I want to do is have a rule for a group of static addresses to go to one pipe in traffic shaper.  IE - addresses 192.168.16.50 - 192.168.16.100 go to my desired pipe.   Is it possible to enter a range of addresses in one rule as opposed to creating a rule for each address in that range?  If so how?
Thanks in advance
