Can OPNsense handle an ADSL connection with an allocated subnet rather than a single IP?

One side of the OPNsense would be a PPPoE connection to a modem, the other would be the routable subnet, with the OPNSense occupying one of the IP addresses from that subnet.

Please only respond if you have actual experience of this scenario.

General Discussion / Unnumbered PPPoE

Does OPNsense support unnumbered PPPoE interfaces? I have a business DSL connection with a subnet. I need the WAN interface to be a PPPoE connection to a modem and the LAN interface to be an IP on the subnet my ISP gives me. So the WAN interface does not have an IP address.
