Development and Code Review / Access a certificate from a template
« on: May 06, 2020, 03:07:19 pm »
Hi everyone,

I'm developing a plugin where I need to write the content of a certificate from the OPNsense's truststore to a local file. I already have a corresponding dropdown in the form and selecting / saving works well.

How can I access the certificates "content" from within a template? When I access it via the model's property, I just get a string like "5eb0efc71fa7f" - maybe its id / hash?

Best regards
Tobias

18.1 Legacy Series / Accessing management-website through OpenVPN
« on: June 20, 2018, 03:28:44 pm »
Hi everyone,

I'm trying to access the management-website through an already existing OpenVPN-tunnel. Is there a possibility to do so? Binding to the VPN-interface is not possible and also nating the incoming connection didn't work.

For security-reasons a out-of-band-management with a dedicated interface is only allowed in case of a vpn-failure. The rest of the time the interface must be disconnected.

Best regards

Development and Code Review / Extending the captive portal
« on: January 22, 2016, 08:27:22 am »
Hey everyone,

first of all thanks for this great project!

We are planning to use the OPNsense captive-portal in our guest-wlan, but have some special requirements.
When people want to go online, they have to provide their first name, surname and email-address and also accept our terms and conditions. There is no need to validate these information, just enter, accept, click OK and they should be online.
At the same time, these information and the corresponding mac-address has to be logged.

Is there a possibility to extend the existing captive portal this way?

Best regards
Tobias
