I tried reassiging the iterface from opnsense CLI based interface however only see 2 interfaces to play with
EM0
vtnet 0

I assigned WM0 to WAN and vtnet0 to LAN

Hello,

Thanks I made some chnages but still not sure right or worng pic attached my OPNsense firewall intrfcae is now accessible on 192.168.1.101.

So if these settings are correct then Ineed to reassign interfaces in OPNsense and assign IP as well.

Hi !

I set up OPNsense on proxmox with these network settings attached in image .
However not sure how to setup all VM's nrwork so that all VM's traffic route thru opnsense forewall where I can implement rules on traffic or use zenarmor.

Can anyone guide as my proxmox server has one NIC do I need 1 more ? Can opnsense work with attached settings and start routing traffic of all VM's through opnsnse . Any help appreciated thanks

Do I need to attach  same 3 network interfaces to all VM;s as well.

Hi ,

I am facing same issue .
successfully installed proxmox and opnsense but zenarmour not blocking applications selected in policy . Using the attched network settgins for opnsense in proxmox any guidance and help appreciated .
Can access opnsense interface from machine outside VM enviroment as see traffic sessions in zenarmour as well. But its not blocking anything
Using community edition not commercial so cant send feedback .

Hi ,

Thanks for your reply . Please note I didt see any events in access log though it was enabled.  I alos tried using Services: Squid Web Proxy: Administration and added facebook.com to blacklist site but its not blocking the site on other machine in same network .

Hi !
I am new here . Following the video I am trying to setup OPNsense and installed Squidproxy all went right like :
1- Installed Squid Proxy on OPNsense enabled transparent proxy settings
2- Downloaded & installed Black list for social category
3- Created proxy redirect rule to avoid bypass
4- Created firewall rules for http and https traffic
5- Created sefl signed CA and installed to edge browser

Followed this video and also followed OPNsense documenration its same

OPNsense installed on VM and running fine and target machine is WIN 11 VM

However when type in facebook.com the proxy suppose to block it as per black list for social networks but nothing happens and open facebook
