the installation is hosted by proxmox, i incresed the disk size (to 50G) but /var is very limited

Hi all,

Every night my wan ip is renewed and I loss connettivity to Internet. So I need to reboot or disabling/enablig again wan to restore it.

The same If i reboot my modem (in bridge mode). With previous Asus router it was managed and connetivity restore automatically.

How to setup in opnsense to manage it? I don´t think is an exoteric feature.

Ho lo stesso problema anche io e sospetto che si verifichi quando scade IP del provider e viene rinnovato IP, la stessa cosa succede quando riavvio il modem. Con il router asus questo non accadeva

Ciao a tutti,

Ho installato opnsense su promox , una wan e una lan 192.168.50.x
il modem è configurato in bridge mode (per evitare il doppio nat).

Il mio problema che dalla lan non riesco a raggiengere la web page del modem su 192.158.254.1, cosa che facevo quando con la stessa configurazione usavo un router asus al posto di opnsense.

1) Cosa devo fare per raggiungere quella rete?

Poi volevo fare una sottorete per i client wireless,
2) come faccio raggiungere i client di questa sottorete i server presenti su 192.168.50.x, a parte impostare un port forward, esiste in systema piu smart?

I changed my project....now i have N100 (4 cpu mono-thread) hosted on proxmox.
I am using 3 cpu and 8gb and seems ok.

Hi all,
I bought a chinese applaince n100 with six 2.5g intel nics.

I want use it for my simple home network, i don't have managed switch by only a dumb 2.5 hub.
I want simply use just i lan connecting my nas, my acces point, printer and iot connected by wireless.
How i have to configure the 5 ports (1 is wan) to permit a single la lan? (Maybe iot could be in untrusted lan ).

I am waiting for n305 based applaince. I will install 32gb and proxmox on top.
How many cpu/memory to allocate for fluid 2.5gbx4 routing is needed?
Do you suggest use of CPU balloning?
