Nope! Haven’t even been able to tinker with those. All my devices (including my modem) hates OpnSense right now. i setup a DHDP for my thermostat but now. it fell off my network and doesn’t want to connect at ALL.

Hey there!

I straight up have not even touched the firewall in OpnSense. The weird thing though, My PC can ping my Camera, My Phone can access the stream, AND my Ubuntu server can ping the camera but for some reason, My instance of HA (Home Assistant) cannot.

I've talked to some people at HA and going back and forth trying to figure out if this is a HA issue or an OpnSense issue (rather a setting that needs to be on or off LOL)

I don't really know where to start. My HA could connect to these same cameras before I made the swap to OpnSense. Any ideas?

I have a few RTSP cameras in my network, for some reason, my HomeAssistant cannot access them but my computer can. I just changed from an Orbi router, it can still interface with the other devices but not access an RTSP stream.

Never had an issue with RTSP before so I don't think its my cameras. I think its just a setting I need to change within opnsense.

Where would I even start to figure out this problem?

Hey all,

I’m doing something SUPER similar to the original thread but is it possible to use two different APs?

I have two hardwired orbi routers i’m kicking into AP mode

And i just ordered a PoE Ubiquiti AP Pro. How would you setup two? is there a different way to do it? I’m throwing the Ubiquti AP either downstairs or in the patio. but i want them both to be handing off the network to which ever is closer if that makes sense.

Thanks!
