20.1 Legacy Series / New install not working

Situation:
- One WAN network
- One LAN network
When I configure a static ip, everything works fine (internet, LAN). When I switch to DHCP, I cannot reach the internet anymore, even though I configured the gateway address as the opnsense box ip
How can I fix this?
Secondly, I can connect to my Openvpn provider, but I cannot get any traffic over the link.
A traceroute results in
