I replicated the same scenario on my test machine. Updated to the new firmware and the pass through mac works fine. Will have to reinstall on the other machine.

@AdSchellevis ...sorry about the multiple post...was only frustrated. I was experiencing the bad password error on the captive portal before the upgrade to 19.7.2. Now after the upgrade the MAC address i had in the captive portal can't access the internet. What do you suggest i do?

i'm having an issue after the upgrade to version 19.7.2 from 19.7.1.
The MAC address pass through no longer works. The MAC addresses are there in the captive portal but the client is still prompted to login via the portal page.

Secondly ...before the upgrade i noticed some vouchers and user account get a bad password error on some devices

Hi all,

I am having some issues with captive portal login. Sometimes when I input the vouchers or a user account I get a bad password error. This happens mostly on some particular devices. The voucher or account works on other computers and devices, but I get a bad password error on some devices.

any solutions to this?

Hi all...I just upgraded from 19.7.1 to 19.7.2 and the pass through MAC addresses in captive portal no longer works. I can put in the MAC address but the portal page still comes up asking the client computer to login with credentials.
